My coffee maker died

Friday – Woke up in one of the most exhausting morning ever especially after the baby was up all night long, I  went up to the coffeemaker put the water in, filter and the ground coffee in and press the brew bottom,  wait a couple of seconds no sounds of warming up, no sound of Life!!!!!!  it had me up right away, wait what’s going on, unplug the cord from the outlet, plug back in, press brew again and still nothing ……….then long pause…………………..well it’s been 7 years without fail I think this is it!!!!! I have to get ready and go to work on a Friday Morning without my morning coffee it was not an easy thing. Thank you Mr. Coffee machine for all this years.

Saturday – I brew my Coffee in a Greca that’s how you called it in Spanish other words Expresso stovetop; you have to have one of this for Emergency …. But it will take a little longer to brew the coffee because you have to wait for the water to be boiled,  it will take more than 10 minutes depends on the speed of the fire of your stove I know mine it’s a little slow . Long story short make two strong cup of coffee with milk for my husband and myself it works!!!!! LOL

Maternity Style

Oh how I love playing dress up when I was pregnant, it’s so much fun going through the  closet and play around with what you already have, your clothes will look so different on you when you pregnant so don’t feel like ” Oh I have wore this previously  I don’t want to look the same  . Dressing up when pregnant was always fun for me again you always have to make the best of it , don’t  get me wrong I do remember having the feeling that nothing fits me everything is too small,  Again  is how you look at things (Hubby’s favorite words)…… I always go for comfortable clothing such a Tights, Dresses, (Boyfriend jeans ) this just to name a few . You want to look stylish don’t get your pregnancy take over you .  I was lucky enough that both of my pregnancy it was not in a bad winter so I don’t really know whats like wearing a big heavy coat or sweaters while pregnant,  So Kudos for you who have experienced it.

Word of advice:  With all those changing hormone in your body being pregnant can make you feel down at times and dressing up, doing my hair and my nails was always a good therapy for me, always makes me feel happy, beautiful and full of energy again . so its important for you not to loose your touch when you are having a bun in the oven 🙂

Hospital bag must have list

Hospital bag must have checklist

Actually this is the checklist I put together based on a few research and from my experience from my previous pregnancy

For Mommy :

  1. Your ID and Insurance card
  2. Birth plan
  3. Continuously drink your prenatal
  4. Make up bag + Toiletries (your lip balm, hair ties, Moisturizer , Deodorant MUST HAVE LOL!!! ) , Comb, Bath towel and etc.,
  5. two sets of pajama, in my case on both of my pregnancy I was in the hospital for 4 -5 days so my husband end up going home to get me more clothes
  6. Nursing bra / Nursing tanks , breast pads
  7. Easy clothes to get in and out like a yoga pants
  8. A pair of slipper and socks
  9. Going home outfit
  10. Pads they usually provide at the hospital but they big bulky ones, Personally I  love it so this way you don’t have to change constantly well its all depend on your flow, or you can bring your own whichever you feel comfortable ….the key is if you giving a natural birth I prefer the bulky one because this way you can also add some ice to release some soreness on your private area (I hope this is not TMI !!!!!! )
  11. Electronics like your Cell Phone, Phone Charger, and Camera, laptop or a table

For  Baby

  1. A Boppy pillow it’s a must……… I get to use this lot especially when feeding the baby
  2. Diapers, Wipes, Diaper cream
  3. Baby going home outfit – Depends on the season if it’s cold you need to keep the baby nice and warm
  4. Swaddles
  5. Socks, hats, mittens to avoid them scratching their little face
  6. Onesie
  7. Pacifier
  8. Car seat
